Old times
Today is the big day: England vs Scotland. It is satisfying to be defending the Calcutta Cup, but I have to say that most people are not at all optimistic about our chances of retaining it. I am not one of these nay-sayers! We shall triumph on Twickenham soil for the first time in 24 years. So much so that the SRU will be given rights to the ground and will be able to use that nice soil to grow potatoes and turnips in time for next year's Burns supper.
I am enjoying psychometric testing. My downfall appears to be mental arithmetic, but I've not met a physicist or mathematician yet who is any good at it. The best mental arithmetician that I know was a management student.

Do you actually want anyone to comment on your prediction for today's match?
Well, we wuz robbed! Ok, we were beat, but even arch-Scotland-riler Moore didn't think that was a try by Wilkinson. And Lamont was unfotunate with the second English try.
